1. Read this week’s covenant commitment: Serve the Lord and his church - to express our love for Jesus, to affirm God's arrangement of the members of this body, and to embrace the Spirit's endowment of our skills and spiritual gifts. We will also serve wherever we are needed.

2. How do you think we (CSBC) are doing with the 80/20 rule (20% of the people do 80% of the work)? Where do you see us? Why?

3. Look at verses 1 & 2. What are “the mercies of God”? How should we respond to them?

4. What does it mean to present yourself to God as a “living” sacrifice?

5. Looking at this passage, how do we know that service in church should be for all believers?

6. How has serving helped you remain humble? On the other hand, how can service make us prideful if we don’t practice “sober judgement”?

7. What picture of the church do we see in verses 4 & 5? How does service bring us together as a church?

8. How could our Small Group serve together in some fashion… either in the church or in the community?
