Fraud & Scam Prevention

Taught by Roanoke County Police

This class, taught by the Roanoke County Police, will help you learn to recognize and avoid fraud and scams.  The class is free and will be in the CSBC “Game Room” (next to the gym). Enter through the Family Life Center doors. This is a free class.

CPR Class

Taught by Roanoke CPR

The CPR/AED course offered by Roanoke CPR is designed specifically for non-health care providers, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.

Cost: $40

Self-Defense Class 

Teacher: Jill Shartzer

Learn basic, practical strategies and techniques for self-defense and personal safety such as how to get out of various holds. We will not be doing take downs.
