Our small groups range from 5–15 people meeting together in homes to fellowship, study, pray, and serve one another and our neighbors. As we practice life together centered on the gospel, we are also empowered to extend hospitality to our neighbors and friends.

What are the three biblical words that describe pastoral ministry in the New Testament? What qualities and roles do each of these emphasize?
Characteristics of elders: What qualities must an elder NOT have?
What are the positive characteristics that an elder ought to display?
What does the phrase “above reproach” (verses 6 & 7) bring to mind?
What about the phrase “God’s steward”? What does that indicate about who an elder is?
